Founder | Director
Hello! I am Sagar Nipurte, a COA-registered Architect with a Master’s degree in Urban Development Planning, and the Director of S-Nipurte Development Services (OPC) Private Limited, operating through SU.DO.CO. (Sustainable Development Company).
My work focuses on the design of cities and living settlements, approaching the built environment as an interconnected system shaped by social, cultural, environmental, and economic forces. I am particularly interested in addressing challenges related to urban growth, settlement development, and climate-responsive planning, where long-term sustainability depends on more than isolated design interventions.
SU.DO.CO. is a multidisciplinary practice built on the belief that sustainability extends beyond environmental performance or visual “green” solutions. The studio works across scales from settlement and neighbourhood planning to urban strategy and advisory collaborating with governments, institutions, NGOs, developers, and communities. Sustainability here is understood as comprehensive development, rooted in context, systems thinking, and long-term impact.
Through research-driven design and collaborative processes, the practice aims to support projects that are resilient, inclusive, and grounded in real-world conditions.
